Pharmacodynamics
Polyvinyl alcohol is a wetting agent and as such enables the formation of a tear film to relieve the symptoms of dry eye.

INDICATIONS
Aqua tears can be used to as an ocular lubricant to provide relief of burning and irritation caused due to dryness of the eye.
It may be used as a tear substitute in case of lacrimal secretion deficiency, dry eye syndrome or for any other condition requiring soothing, lubricating and moisturizing of the corneal tissues. Aqua tears can be used along with other topical eye application to soothe any irritating condition of the eye.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Instill one to two drops in the affected eyes at frequency as per the physicians` direction.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to any components of this medication .
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Aqua tears are not meant for injection.
To avoid contamination do not touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using. If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye and if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult your physician. If solution changes colour or becomes cloudy, do not use. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or consult your physician.
