Composition
Nutrolin-B Pedtabs
Each dispersible tablet contains Lactic Acid Bacilli 40 x 106, Thiamine Mononitrate IP 2 mg, Riboflavine IP 2.5 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride IP 1.5 mg and Nicotinamide IP 20 mg.
Nutrolin-B Syrup
Each 5 ml (after reconstitution) contains Lactic Acid Bacilli 40 x 106, Thiamine Mononitrate IP 2 mg, Riboflavine IP 2.5 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride IP 1.5 mg and Nicotinamide IP 20 mg.
Description
Lactic acid bacilli are gram-positive lactic acid producing organisms which proliferate in the small intestine, thus creating an environment unfavourable to the growth of potentially pathogenic fungi and bacteria.

Indications
During and following antibiotic therapy, infantile diarrhoea, non-specific diarrhoea, for correction of disturbed gastrointestinal function in flatulence, malabsorption, to restore and stabilize defective intestinal flora, in aphthous stomatitis, fever blisters and canker sores, hepatic encephalopathy and vitamin B complex deficiency
Dosage And Administration
As adjunct to antibiotic therapy
Children: One pedtab 1 to 3 times daily
Infants : 2.5 ml of syrup 1-3 times daily
For gastrointestinal disorders
Children: One pedtab 1 to 3 times daily
Infants : 2.5 ml of syrup 1-3 times daily
For specific vitamin B complex deficiency
Children: One pedtab 1 to 3 times daily
Infants : 2.5 ml of syrup 1-3 times daily
Contraindications
Lactose intolerance
Warnings and Precautions
Unless directed by the physician, do not use for more than two days, or in the presence of high fever or in children less than three years old.
Overdosage
There is no experience with overdosage
